Only thing is, I have to disagree with whoever was speaking in the clip that cellphones were invented in Israel. Unless I am mistaken, i believe they were invented in Japan.

I believe the technology was invented in E"Y.

Yup, most if not all of the Chasiddishe Jews believe that Zionism is wrong - and that we aren't supposed to be there until Moshiach brings us there.

Here is the issue though: G-d oversees all, and has allowed E"Y to come under the governance once again of His people.

If He didn't want it to happen, it wouldn't have.

I can dig that. The way I see it God would not have given the ability to understand anything if we were not intended/more likely to be able to do so.

And thats what I find strange, they believe G-d is sovereign, so why would they not follow the majority opinion?

Because they are trying to be machmid on the idea that only Moshiach can bring us out of galus.

Fact is that we are still in galus even though we have the State of Israel.

Not sure why they are so hard on this issue.
