Anti-Semitism runs rampant in the EU, the Middle East, South America, and the USA. Surprised? I'm not. The reason is pretty simple: Government.

BoBama is an Anti-Semite. So is his Russian, Egyptian, Arabian, Turkish, Syrian, French, British, etc. counterparts.

When high ranking government officials get away with showing utter disrespect to Jews and their county, the world will ensue.

Know what? It was prophesied, many times over. In the end of times, during the Messianic Era, it will be bad for Jews. ...unitl Moshiach comes. When Moshiach comes, it will be simple: Convert or become the enemy. Once all Jews and Ger HaTzaddikim come to Israel, and the Beis HaShelishi is built, all bets will be off.

Fact is, I don't care why the world is Anti-Semitic. It won't change, it can't. Esav & Yishmael are diametrically opposed to the One G-d, and His people.

Yes, I'm inclined to agree. In fact, I'd go one step further: when was being Jewish ever held on a broad basis as a 'great thing.'

I've long maintained that Jews are some of the most discriminated against people out there.

Yeah, for me that was the beauty of it. I had lightbulb over the head experience at 35. Since then, I've worked very hard to educate myself. And I really believe my last post.

While it isn't "hard", it's a complete life change. It comes complete with Anti-Semitism, and I see it almost every day (mostly at a very low level, but every day nonetheless). I probably feel it more because I was like the average southern boy growing up, replete with my own inherited hatered of everything and everyone I didn't understand.

My first Tshuvah was a towel wringer.

My family had a membership at the JCC growing up. It was always a bit strange, because we were basically the only non-Jews there in a very Jewish area (Catholic). I never really considered it an issue as some of my best friends were, and still are, Jewish.

I do recall the towel/swimming suit wringers quite vividly. I came across something similar in college and that was it.

I grew up RCC. In the school I went to, I distinctly remember drawing swastica's and german tanks with my friends. I had no idea what I was doing, all I knew was that the symbols were cool. This stuff was openly displayed and nobody said a word.

Looking back, I can't help but imagine the thoughts that may have gone through the minds of any of the young Jewish children that went to my school. I had no idea. Even though it was bishogayg (not intentional), I'm still ashamed.
