    Shalom Yehuda.
I have a question. When reading Shemos and it was talking about Pharaoh having the Jewish people trapped between his armies and the Red Sea The Jews at first panicked. According to HaChaim the Jews also saw Mitzrayim the guardian Angel of Egypt. The sages also claim this angel was destroyed along with the Egyptians. the problem and where i get confused is this: I was under the impression that all angels were created by Hashem and were infinite beings. So how could this angel have died? also why would this angel have died since all angels are subject to the will of Hashem and therefore are doing his work?

I remember the question... and I guess it's about time I answered it!

Malochim are indeed infinite beings, but G-d is the ultimate infinite being and He can do whatever He wants at any time. So while the Talmidei Chachomim might say that they don't die (and they don't naturally), they would surely agree that Hashem could destroy them if He deemed it necessary.

I don't know anything really about the angel of mitzrayim... so I'll ask my Rav in the morning (really, this time).
