Sotah 7a and Yichud Empty Sotah 7a and Yichud

In Bavli Sotah 7a. Yichud (seclusion) is mentioned. The commentary in Artscroll goes into detail and debate as to whether the yichud prohibition is in fact Biblical. It is also stated that basically the prohibition applies to seclusion with anyone for whom if you lay with you would be subject to kares. The exception being Mothers and daughters? My question is, there doesn;t seem to be any mention anywhere of sisters? Why not.. Also since Anal sodomy between men would fall under a kares penalty, wouldn't some form of yichud restriction also apply among men? Kinda silly there I know but it would fall under the above definition...

    Thoughts?

Between men because it typically doesn't happen. The gemarah doesn't mention sisters because it mentions two other forbidden relations - perforce the others are included.

Mp, what I am talking about are the exceptions..Since mothers and daughters are exempt..wouldn't sisters be as well?

One would think..Yet since they weren't listed....
Again..one tries not to assume anything since sometimes things get complicated in the world of Talmud.
As far as men and saying it "typically doesn't happen" That could be argued as well..keep in mind at this time we were living among the heathen Romans and it may well have not been all that unusual. Avodah Zarah tells us not to keep our animals kept where idolaters keep their own animals because the belief seemed to be held that at the time, bestiality among the gentiles was very common
