Paris has a strict law against anti-semitism. It seems even making what could be an anti Semitic remark can get you arrested. While I think people should show respect for one another, I am not sure I can support the government telling people what they can and cannot say provided they aren't yelling "fire" in a crowded theater.

In some ways, maybe it helps keep comments like this from being public, but it would seem it could also lead to resentment towards Jews.
