Am i the only Republican that does NOT want her to run? I think she would be good in the Senate, but as president? No.

I've thought about this alot. As much as I'm not sure about how good of a president she would be... she certainly has and will electrify the conservative base.... and that is something we desparately need.

Would she be a good president? Was clinton good, is obama good, was carter good? What about the first bush? What about the 2nd bush?

I don't think we can judge how good of a president she will be based on any of the lat 20 president, except for Ronald Reagan (who I believe was the greatest modern president - post civil war).

So really... I think we shouldn't judge her, we should rally behind the base, and if it's behind her, it works for me.

I don't know if she would actually do much for the base. In the beginning I think she really did, but the novelty seems to have worn off. I could see her as a VP (obviously, I voted for her and McCain) But I am not sure there is a whole lot of substance there.

Well, I think that she stands for some of the things that are dear to me: 2A, G-d, and Country (not in that order).

If we have a "black" president, then I can see her being elected. As a matter of fact, I'm stunned that the female base didn't elect her... they were all about HilBillary. When she didn't get the nod, I was sure that the women would step up. I was a little disappointed.

She could do no worse than our current PotUS, and I believe she could do much better.

Well the feminists proved by the way they treated her that they are for the most part full of shite.
The way they attacked her proves they are more concerned with a liberal agenda than women's rights.
I think the real prob is that McCain seemed to pick her strictly to steal female votes from Hillary. To me it just seemed like a political stunt and that kind of turned me off a bit, there were much better choices out there for VP

I like alot of her positions, and she's hell of alot more Conservative then McCain. Yet I don't think she can run in 2012. After Obama will be a huge flop, people will shy away from electing people perceived as young or inexperienced. Let her work in the Senate for a decade or two, so she will have the Washington scoop down, and then maybe she'd be a good President.

I think the main difference between her and BHO is that she HAS experience. He didn't. He was a "community organizer", she was a Mayor then a State Governor.

    Big difference there.

In her case, having electrified politices (specifically her party), she will be a viable candidate. My prediction, based on the fact that there ISN'T another conservative out there doing what she is, and the fact that the country will not elect another tax & spending socialist: Palin 2012.

I agree with Kristina here. I think people will want to see a more "tried and true" leader after Obama flops. No more American idol in DC after this one I think

    Maybe..

But I want a candidate that electrifies it's base and makes people WANT to get involved and vote. We haven't had that, and we need it.

Once Obama flops, it won't take a conservative genius to take the white house... but we need someone like Palin. She is compelling, popular, and incites people to TALK. What other conservative candidate have you seen in the last 10 years who does that?

If she runs, I'll support her.

Well, the way the people are talking in the news, she may yet just run, I seriosuly hope not. I want Obama out of there and I think like Christine O'donnell she's just be another pretty face but will lack real substance.
